Rated 5 out of 5 by from good for skin We got the Salmon & sweet potato grain free food on the way home from the animal shelter, where we adopted a beautiful, 7 year old dog, who was recovering from a severe skin infection due to flea infestation and a possible chicken allergy. She had scratched off most of her fur on her back end, and was bleeding and tender when she was surrendered. They recommended a fish based food. Luckily, I saw this one on the grocery store shelf and figured we'd try it. Bella LOVES this food! Her skin is looking great now, and she doesn't scratch. I would like to be able to purchase a larger bag, though... and intend to talk to my local grocer about stocking it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Dog Food Ever! Recently moved and ran out of dog food. Ran to Safeway to grab something to hold them over until I could shop for the good stuff. Well guess what - this is the good stuff! My dogs love it and they both have the healthiest p**p ever. I worked for a vet for 7 years all through college and grad school and learned p**p is a good indicator of health. Both of my dogs are picky eaters but they just love this food. Hoping to find a large size bag since one of them is a Great Dane/shepherd mix. The other is a mini-dachshund who thinks he is a Great Dane. Thanks for this wonderful food. I rarely write reviews but this deserves one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My two dogs love this! I am a canine trainer, pet parent of a 9 year old Jack/Rat terrier and a 1 yr old large Plott Hound. My husband is a retired DVM. We could not be happier with the ingredients and quality of this product, it is appealing to both our high energy dogs. They roam our 300 acres in Georgia with our supervision and maintain excellent health. Thank you for an affordable great food that is not filled with GMO corn or grains. I also work part time for a local government owned animal shelter, wish we could afford in the budget your excellent quality food. Do you have coupons available for us to give to people who adopt dogs?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality Dog Food! My Rottweiler pup is 10 months old and recently been diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. He is allergic to a lot of things. The vet said to get him on a grain free food with one single protein source. He has been eating this food for just over a week and doing very well! My Sheltie is doing quite well on this food also. They both seem to enjoy it and eat it right up! Quality ingredients and being able to purchase it at the grocery store for a reasonable price is just wonderful! I really recommend this food to anyone wanting something of great quality for their pups that will not break the bank!

We bought a bag of this at our small town retail grocery store when we didn't want to drive into the Grange to get our usual 'healthy, no grain, no additive' dog kibble. Typically they will take a bite here or there through the day, but show little to no enthusiasm for the kibble. HOWEVER....we bought this Salmon and Sweet Potato kibble....DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GET BETWEEN THEM AND THEIR FOOD WHEN YOU PUT THE FOOD DOWN! They don't come up for air until its ALL GONE! We feed a cup in the morning per dog and a cup in the evening. Both are females, the Blue heeler is Foxxi at 19 months and the Reverse Red is Kati at 16 months. Both are doing extremely well on this food. Our only problem now is finding a bigger bag than 6 lbs. It isn't going to cut it for us!

But, when I tell you that he gets more excited to eat this food than the last brand, I'm not kidding! I love the ingredients, and he loves the taste! I know some people may think that the smell is off-putting, especially the salmon food, but let me tell you something. I work in a doggy daycare and boarding facility, and I've noticed that the weirdest smelling food is usually the more expensive and healthier brands. This brand- it smells expensive and healthier, but for an affordable price. I'm so happy with this brand, that I even bought the treats! And he loves those, too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grain free goodness! I have been feeding Supreme Source to our 6 year old lab mix Hogan for a few months. He has allergies and needs grain free options. I'm so glad that I tried Supreme Source on a whim when our grocery store started carrying their products. Hogan appears to love the taste (he tries to stick his head in the bag and sneak kibble as I'm scooping and then promptly wolfs down his bowl) and his skin/fur has never looked better. He usually has ongoing skin flare-ups but he's been clear since switching to Supreme Source. I've been rotating flavors/protein and he is doing wonderful with all of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great find!! Our 14 yr. old Shiba Inu started having skin issues about 2 years ago. We were advised to use a fish or poultry based dog food. We tried a couple of highly popular brands during this time without much improvement in her condition. I stumbled upon Supreme Source at our local Albertson store and decided to give it a try. The first thing I noiced was the small size of the nuggets which was perfect for our old girl, much easier for her to chew. She absoultly loves it and added bonus, her skin has improved greatly!! I highly recommend Supreme Source!

ADULT:
Every dog is different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, activity level, breed and environment. For adult dogs, feed once or twice daily. Use table and adjust to maintain body weight.

PREGNANT OR NURSING FEMALES:
Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female’s good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation.

PUPPY:
For puppies ages 4 weeks to 6 months, feed approximately 1/2 cup for every 2 lbs of body weight. For puppies ages 6 months to 12 months, feed approximately 1/4 to 1/2 cup for every 2 lbs of body weight.

Always provide fresh drinking water for your dog. Consult your veterinarian regularly to maintain your dog's optimal health.

MAKING THE SWITCH TO SUPREME SOURCE®:
We created our recipes in order to offer an alternative for those pets with food sensitivities. In order to avoid similar digestion issues while changing your dog’s diet, it is important to allow 7-10 days to transition to Supreme Source®.
